The purpose of this blog post is to provide the guidance and the steps needed to configure vSphere Replication v8.8.0.3 after it’s been successfully installed (see installation blog post here).
** This guides applies to my personal home lab environment so please proceed with caution and take the appropriate steps including documentation to ensure you have a successful backup. **
- Log into your VMware VRMS Appliance Management using the assigned hostname or IP address:

- Select Launch vSphere Replication Appliance Management at the Getting Started page:

- At the Summary window, please select Configure Appliance:

- Enter the username and password for the vCenter Server and then select Next:

- Select Connect to proceed past the Security Alert:

- Select the desired vCenter Server followed by Next:

- Select Connect to proceed past the Security Alert:

- A preferred Site Name and Email Address is required to receive notifications, followed by Next to proceed:

- Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed the parameters you have created, please select Finish to proceed:

- Please allow a few minutes for the new changes to apply:

- Once the changes have applied successfully, you should receive a similar message:

- It will also be reflected in vSphere under Recent Tasks:
