Synology to End Support for DSM 6.2 in 2024, Affecting Many Older NAS Systems
Synology has announced that it will end support for its DiskStation Manager (DSM) 6.2 operating system in 2024. This means that NAS systems that are still running this version will no longer receive security updates or bug fixes. DSM 6.2 was released in 2013, and it is the last version that is supported by many older Synology NAS systems. For example, the DS110j, which was released in 2010, is still running DSM 6.2.
